How Long Does It Take to Learn 5,000 Quran Words With Meanings?
Learning Quran vocabulary does not have to take hours each day. Start small. If you spend about 10 minutes a day learning the meanings of 4 new Quran words, you can gradually build your vocabulary while continuing to review the words you have already learned….
4 words a day × 25 days = 100 Quran words
Continue at the same pace throughout the year:
4 words a day × 365 days = 1,460 Quran words in 1 year
At a pace of 4 new words a day, you could study approximately 5,000 Quran words in about 3.4 years. Regular review will help you remember the words you have already learned.
How This Quran Words With Meanings Course Works
Each section introduces a small group of new Quran words through surahs, ayahs, duas, and adhkar that you may already know and recite. This allows you to learn the English meaning of each Arabic word in its Quranic context rather than memorizing an isolated vocabulary list.
After studying the words, use the Arabic-to-English quizzes to test yourself. As you continue through the course, you will encounter familiar words again while gradually adding new vocabulary.
