  • Dua of Sajda Tilawat

    اللّهُـمَّ لَكَ سَـجَدْتُ وَبِـكَ آمَنْـت ، وَلَكَ أَسْلَـمْت ، سَجَـدَ وَجْهـي للَّـذي خَلَقَـهُ وَصَـوَّرَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْـعَـهُ وَبَصَـرَه ، تَبـارَكَ اللهُ أَحْسـنُ الخـالِقيـن.

    ‘O Allah, unto You I have prostrated and in You I have believed, and unto You I have submitted. My face has prostrated before He Who created it and fashioned it, and brought forth its faculties of hearing and seeing. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.’

    اللّهُـمَّ O Allah

    لَكَ for You

    سَـجَدْتُ I have prostrated

    وَبِـكَ آمَنْـت and in You I believed

    وَلَكَ أَسْلَـمْت and to You I have submitted

    سَجَـدَ prostrated

    وَجْهـي my face

    للَّـذي to the one who

    خَلَقَـهُ created it

    وَصَـوَّرَهُ and fashioned it

    وَشَقَّ and brought forth

    سَمْـعَـهُ its hearing

    وَبَصَـرَه and its seeing

    تَبـارَكَ اللهُ Blessed is Allah

    أَحْسـنُ الخـالِقيـن Best of Creators

  • Another dua to read in Rukoo

    سُبْـحانَ ذي الْجَبَـروت ،والمَلَـكوت ، وَالكِبْـرِياء ، وَالْعَظَـمَه

    ‘How perfect He is, The Possessor of total power, sovereignty, magnificence and grandeur.’

    سُبْـحانَ How perfect He is

    ذي الْجَبَـروت Possessor of total power

    والمَلَـكوت and the Kingdom

    وَالكِبْـرِياء and the magnificence

    وَالْعَظَـمَه and the grandeur

  • Dua between the two prostrations

    اللّهُـمَّ اغْفِـرْ لي ، وَارْحَمْـني ، وَاهْدِنـي ، وَاجْبُرْنـي ، وَعافِنـي وَارْزُقْنـي وَارْفَعْـني

    ‘O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, enrich me, give me health, grant me sustenance and raise my rank.’

    اللّهُـمَّ اغْفِـرْ لي O Allah forgive me

    وَارْحَمْـني and have mercy on me

    وَاهْدِنـي and guide me

    وَاجْبُرْنـي and enrich me

    وَعافِنـي and give me health

    وَارْزُقْنـي and provide me

    وَارْفَعْـني and raise my ranks
