  • Dua when going to the mosque

    اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيْ قَلْبِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ لِسَانِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ سَمْعِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ بَصَرِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّمِنْ فَوْقِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّمِنْ تَحْتِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّعَنْ يَّمِيْنِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّعَنْ شِمَالِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّمِنْ أَمَامِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّمِنْ خَلْفِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّاجْعَلْ فِيْ نَفْسِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّأَعْظِمْ لِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّعَظِّمْ لِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّاجْعَلْ لِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّاجْعَلْنِيْ نُوْرًا، اَللّٰهُمَّ أَعْطِنِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّاجْعَلْ فِيْ عَصَبِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ لَحْمِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ دَمِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ شَعْرِيْ نُوْرًا، وَّفِيْ بَشَرِيْ نُوْرًا

    Word by word meanings of dua going to mosque

    اَللّٰهُمَّ o Allah

    اجْعَلْ place

    فِيْ in

    قَلْبِيْ my heart

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and in

    لِسَانِيْ my tongue

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and in

    سَمْعِيْ my hearing

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and

    بَصَرِيْ in my sight

    وَّمِنْ and from

    فَوْقِيْ above me

    تَحْتِيْ below me

    وَّعَنْ يَّمِيْنِيْ نُوْرًا and on my right light

    وَّعَنْ شِمَالِيْ نُوْرًا and on my left light

    وَّمِنْ أَمَامِيْ نُوْرًا and before me light

    وَّمِنْ خَلْفِيْ نُوْرًا and behind me light

    وَّاجْعَلْ and make

    فِيْ in

    نَفْسِيْ my soul

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّأَعْظِمْ and magnify

    لِيْ for me

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّعَظِّمْ and amplify

    لِيْ for me

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّاجْعَلْ and make

    لِيْ for me

    نُوْرًاlight

    وَّاجْعَلْنِيْ and make me

    نُوْرًا light

    اَللّٰهُمَّ o Allah

    أَعْطِنِيْ grant me

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّاجْعَلْ and make

    فِيْ in

    عَصَبِيْ nerves

    نُوْرًاlight

    وَّفِيْ and in

    لَحْمِيْ my body

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and in

    دَمِيْ my blood

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and in

    شَعْرِيْ my hair

    نُوْرًا light

    وَّفِيْ and in

    بَشَرِيْ my skin

    نُوْرًا light

  • Dua to keep this city safe

    رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَنْ نَعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ

    “My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. [Sura Ibrahim 14 : 35]

    رَبِّ Lord

    اجْعَلْ make

    هَٰذَا this

    الْبَلَدَ city

    آمِنًا secure

    وَاجْنُبْنِي and keep me away

    وَبَنِيَّ and my sons

    أَنْ that

    نَعْبُدَwe worhsip

    الْأَصْنَامَ idols

  • Oh Allah rectify all my affairs

    يا حَـيُّ يا قَيّـومُ بِـرَحْمَـتِكِ أَسْتَـغـيث ، أَصْلِـحْ لي شَـأْنـي كُلَّـه ، وَلا تَكِلـني إِلى نَفْـسي طَـرْفَةَ عَـين

    O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye. Word by word audio

    يا حَـيُّ O Everliving

    يا قَيّـومُ O Sustainer and Protector

    بِـرَحْمَـتِكِ with Your mercy

    أَسْتَـغـيث I seek assistance

    أَصْلِـحْ rectify

    لي for me

    شَـأْنـي my affair

    كُلَّـه all of it

    ، وَلا and do not

    تَكِلـني entrust me

    إِلى to

    نَفْـسيmyself

    طَـرْفَةَ blink
