  • Dua to make things easy

    اللّهُـمَّ لا سَـهْلَ إِلاّ ما جَعَلـتَهُ سَهـلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْـعَلُ الْحَـزَنَ إِذا شِـئْتَ سَهـْلاً

    ‘O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy, and You make the difficulty, if You wish, easy.’

    اللّهُـمَّ O Allah

    لا سَـهْلَ there is no ease

    إِلاّ except

    ما what

    جَعَلـتَهُ You made it

    سَهـلاً easy

    وَأَنْتَ and You

    تَجْـعَلُ make

    الْحَـزَنَ difficulty

    إِذا when

    شِـئْتَYou wish/will

    سَهـْلاً easy

  • Dua to ask Allah to decide for us

    رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

    Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision.” [Sura Al-A’raaf 7 : 89]

    رَبَّنَا Our Lord

    افْتَحْ decide

    بَيْنَنَا between us

    وَبَيْنَ and between

    قَوْمِنَا our people

    بِالْحَقِّ in truth

    وَأَنْتَ and You

    خَيْرُ(are the) best

    الْفَاتِحِينَ who give decision

  • Dua of Prophet Nooh (peace be on him)

    أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ

    “Indeed, I am overpowered, so help.” [Sura Al-Qamar 54 : 10]

    أَنِّي Indeed I

    مَغْلُوبٌ overpowered

    فَانْتَصِرْ so help
